Calot-wat

this is a radar image that was off the eastern coast (probably in the gulf)...not sure exactly when since i've collected so many of these over the last seven months (if not longer) and yes that means i have around a thousand images of various sizes by now and the collection continues to grow every day thanks to OCD...  the reason for collecting these images is for use for creating maps for a eventual world building project... the images over water are easier to work with for obvious reasons...those over land are require erasing roads and place names and i've not even started doing that yet, although the land forms that result are in fact very nice and strange enough to promote many narrative stories in my brain... i will probably transfer this and many others to paper with pen and ink and watercolor along with notations and map coordinates when i finely decide on the actual scale of each image... some are more suited for islands while others are massive enough to be continents...many of the images are stitched together since the radar window is small...twenty or fifty images might be required to produce just one full image so as you can imagine putting one together can take over an hour ore even longer.  this is just one of many ongoing experiments and projects that take up my time and keep me sane within a reasonable context of the legal definition of sanity....

the radar images are from accuweather ...and since i do not own the weather, anyone can do what i've done here... i find it interesting, but then i collect natural patterns anyway.
