many things (such as this image[link]) inspire me, but to give you a precise description as to what exactly attracts me to one thing or another is tricky. like art, i know it when i see it, and what aspects or elements of a particular image or lines from a verse of poetry lead me down a path of thinking can change one day to the next. Typically my first reaction to something is my strongest and usually the most meaningful. a story does not require a lot of words to have meaning, writing haiku, soji, and several other forms of eastern poetry has allowed me to distil moments to more than just a captured event.
